The Kenaniah Project is a music ensemble with the mission to unite faith and artistic excellence for God’s glory, combining elements of classical, jazz, and folk music—a sound that celebrates every member’s unique musical talents and experiences.
Each Kenaniah member studied music at either the Eastman School of Music or the Juilliard School. In these high-level and high-pressure environments, these musicians started to consider what it would look like to truly worship God every time they took their instruments out—not just on Sunday mornings at church.
Through deep scripture study and prayer, God transformed and unified their hearts to create an unconventional ensemble. In addition to playing with Kenaniah, all these musicians are actively pursuing their careers, working as music faculty at schools, holding principal positions in symphony orchestras, freelancing internationally, researching historical performance practices, and serving in pastoral leadership.
