“Further up and further down,
The soul of man must quicken now,
Hope deferred will lose the day
So summon all your powers now
and play.”

 - Quicken Now (Chorus)

God, the God of infinite glory and infinite beauty, calls us to awaken to his greatness at all times. As artists, we seek this through the music we make. This is our upward call: imitation of the great Creator.  For beauty and for glory, the torch is now ours. We desire more, we pursue more, we must do more.  Further up and further in, our Father calls. Do not bury your talents, from the ashes, rise. Quicken now.
